Strephon talks about the nature of archetypes and their power over us. He shows us to bring choice to the archetypes and create with them rather than try to control them.

The definition of an archetype is an inherent energy function in the universe.

-We relate to the archetypes, we do not control them. They mostly control us.

-We have maybe thirty percent choice regarding the archetypes

-What defines us as different from an archetype?

-We look to our dreams and to life to see this.

-The image of oneself in a dream and in life

-the power and variety of choice with have in relation to the archetype

-the awareness of how the archetypes operate in us and in others and what we can do to survive the archetypes and their power

-how through choice to relate to the archetype and create with some of its energy

-how to use archetypal power to create product, whether an organization, a baby, a family a painting or a poem, a religion, and so on. Culture is the attempt by human to channel archetypal power into constructive use

-dreams or fantasies of being controlled by outside forces show how powerful the archetype is over the ego personality of the individual

-We must acknowledge the superiority of the archetypes, yet at the same time assert purpose through choice and creative containment over the archetype

-Through choice we turn fate into destiny!
